I began my investment industry career in 1992 and joined Stifel in 2007. After serving with the U.S. Army and attending Oklahoma State University, I worked as a television and radio reporter/anchor with a small bureau that worked with CNN. I then joined the CBN Radio Network as one of the original seven anchors and main economic reporter – this is where my interest in the financial services industry really began. The ability to analyze and use data, numbers, and trends to help investors – and people in general – has always been important to me. I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, which has been a driving force in my career.
Many of the financial issues my clients have faced, I have faced as well. I have lived through nearly all levels of the economic spectrum. As with many Americans, there were times in my life when I did not know how I was going to pay bills – I truly understand how debt and bills can control your life. I understand how hard it can be to save and invest for families. I also understand how accumulated assets can create further complications for families rather than solutions. With my background and experience, I hope to help my clients navigate the markets and make informed decisions regarding their finances.
I truly enjoy my work and am proud of the long-lasting relationships I have established with my clients over the last 30 years. Within that time, I have also attained the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation and currently hold Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses. I believe in giving back to my community. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my children and watching them excel in their lives.
